Mr. Greg Dallmann: Principal - 7th-8th Grade

I was born in Illinois to a family of two brothers and five sisters. Between my sophomore and junior year of high school, we moved to Phoenix where I graduated from Cortez High School. In 1973, I joined the Air Force and began my electronics career. In 1975, I met Joann in Homestead, Florida, and we were married in December of that year. I trusted Jesus as my personal Savior on October 17, 1974, at the age of nineteen. Within four months I was working in the bus ministry and soon after teaching a Sunday school class. God’s calling for me to teach children was made clear in my heart, and I have continued to teach children ever since. In 1981, I followed God’s leading in leaving the Air Force to attend Baptist University of America to get an education degree. Over the last twenty-six years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from third to twelfth grade. I have been certified with the American Association of Christian Schools and with Florida Association of Christian Schools and Colleges. I look forward to continuing my ministry at Vision Christian Academy. My life verse is Colossians 1:10, “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Mrs. Joann Dallmann: Administrator - 4th-6th Grade

I was born in Michigan and grew up in a large family with nine children. By the time I graduated from college, I already had twenty-six nieces and nephews. Children have always been a large part of my life. I was saved in 1964 at the age of thirteen. At the age of fifteen, I began teaching a first grade Sunday school class and have been working with children ever since. Within a short time of being saved, I knew that I wanted the Lord to use me in full-time Christian work. This was my desire then and still is. I graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1972 with a missions degree and a secretarial degree. I started teaching fourth grade in a large Christian school in Homestead, Florida that fall. While teaching there, I met my husband, Greg, who was stationed in Homestead with the Air Force. We were married in December of 1975, and the Lord blessed us with three children over the next five years. In 1987, I graduated from Baptist University of America with my bachelor’s degree in education. I have been certified with the American Association of Christian Schools and with Florida Association of Christian Schools and Colleges. Being in the military, we moved quite often, and thus, I had the opportunity to teach in seven different Christian schools in five different states. This May, I finished my thirty-sixth year of teaching. Over the years, I have taught K5-8th grade plus various high school subjects, such as accounting, typing, keyboarding, office management, shorthand, etc. In two of these schools, I have served as the principal, secretary, and accountant in addition to teaching. The Lord has given me the privilege to have a part in educating many different students, several who have grown up to serve Him as missionaries, pastors, Christian school teachers, lawyers, doctors, secretaries and many other occupations including one who is currently the governor of his state. I am grateful for the opportunity God has given me at Vision Christian Academy and look forward to what He has in store for us. My life verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Miss Michele Dallmann - 2nd-3rd Grade
I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, into a Christian family with two older brothers. At the age of five, I accepted the Lord as my Savior. My Grandma Dallmann was a preschool teacher and both of my parents are teachers. Needless to say, I wanted to be like them. While in high school, I had the privilege of being a teacher's aide in the K-5 class. I was also able to teach the 4 and 5 year old Sunday school class. I knew that the Lord was calling me to be a teacher, and this made me fall in love with this age group. I graduated from Maranatha! Christian Academy in 1998 and attended Pensacola Christian College. I received my degree in elementary education. Upon graduating, I taught at Calvary Christian Academy for nine years in K5 and 1st grade. I am glad that the Lord has led me to Vision Christian Academy, and I look forward to how He is going to use me here. My life verse is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
Mrs. Cristina Polanycia - K5-1st Grade
I was born in Ohio into a loving Christian family with two older sisters. My parents showed me a good example of what a Christian marriage should be. After graduating from Milford Christian Academy in 2004, I began attending Crown College in Powell, TN majoring in elementary education. At the end of my freshman year, I met future husband Andrew Polanycia, and we dated through college. We were married in Milford, Ohio right after graduation in June of 2008. We then moved to Phoenix to help Vision Baptist Church.
I accepted the Lord as my Savior on April 20, 1993 at the age of six. Throughout junior high and high school, I had many opportunities to work with children including Vacation Bible School, junior church, and school programs. By the end of high school, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Both of my sisters became secondary educators, but I wanted to work with younger children. God allowed me to begin my first year of teaching in the fall of 2009 with the kindergarten at Vision Christian Academy. I am excited about all God has for me here at Vision and in working with children. My life verse is II Thessalonians 5:24, “Faithful is He that calleth you Who also will do it.”
